Pump & Filter Service
Your pump and filter do the heavy lifting that keeps pool water clean. When the pump won’t prime, gets loud or leaks, or the filter pressure climbs and the water turns cloudy, Bakers Pool Cleaning & Repair can get your system running right again. We repair pumps and filters for homes in Medford and across Jackson County.

Signs your pump or filter needs attention
The pump won’t prime or loses prime
The pump hums, grinds or runs louder than normal
Water or air is leaking around the pump or filter
Filter pressure stays high even after cleaning
The water is cloudy even though the pump is running
Air bubbles show up in the pump basket or return jets
Valves, plumbing and timers
Pump and filter problems often trace back to the valves, fittings and plumbing around them, or to the timer that runs them. We repair valves, fittings, equipment plumbing, time clocks and pump controls, so one visit can cover the whole equipment pad. We handle above-ground equipment repair only, with no pool construction.
Why variable-speed upgrades are worth a look
Older single-speed pumps run at full power every time they’re on. A variable-speed pump can run slower for most of the day, which typically uses less energy. If your pump is aging or due for replacement, ask us whether a variable-speed upgrade makes sense for your pool.
Bakers Pool Cleaning & Repair is owned and operated by Jake Baker, who has more than 7 years of pool and spa repair experience and learned the trade from his grandfather, who has over 40 years in the industry. We’re licensed, bonded and insured (CCB# 256965).
